High-resolution, in-phase and out-of-phase
imaging
in just one breath-hold
In- and out-of-phase gradient echo imaging in abdominal
MRI can help identify fatty infiltration, focal fatty sparing,
liver lesions, and other conditions. 3D Dual Echo
is a new sequence that produces in-phase and out-of-phase
images in the same acquisition within a single breath-hold.
It ensures virtually perfect registration between
corresponding in- and out-of-phase images every time, and
greatly enhances small
lesion detection and visualization giving you uncompromised
image quality.
Greater confidence
Consistently obtain higher-resolution images to improve
diagnostic confidence. We Acquire perfectly co-registered
images virtually every time for optimal contrast.
SNR Increases up to 30% (compared to the 2D equivalent
technique) for higher spatial resolution.
Interslice gaps Reduces for uncompromised small lesion
detection and visualization.
One acquisition
Acquires images in one breath-hold versus two to increase
productivity and throughput.
Easier exams
Potentially reduces breath-hold failures, slice mismatches,
retakes and exam difficulty.
Helps to shorten scan times for critically ill patients.
